Biographical Sketch
Reza Ahmadi is an assistant professor in the School of
Mathematics at the Iran University of Science and
Technology. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in
Statistics and Mathematical Statistics at the University of
Isfahan, Iran and in 2011 obtained his Ph.D. in Applied
Probability and Statistics at City University, UK. His
research intersts lie in the general area of maintenance
modelling and optimization for stochastically deteriorating
systems with a special interest in optimal preventive
maintenance, reliability and maintenance scheduling of
manufacturing systems. During the past years he has been
invited for reviewing papers by the editorial board of
Computers and Industrial Engineering Journal, Reliability
Engineering and System Safety Journal IMA Journal of
Management Mathematics, Journal of Structure and
Infrastructure Engineering, Asia-Pacific Journal of
Operational Research, Journal of IEEE Transactions on
Reliability and International Journal of Quality &
Reliability Management. His papers appeared in Journals and
Peer review Conferences including Reliability Engineering
and System Safety, Annals of Operations Research, ISSAT
International Conference on Reliability and Quality in
Design, Advances in Safety, Reliability and Risk Management
