SQME
Tool: A Tool for Modeling and Evaluation of Software Quality Attributes
Developed in: TwCL by Ali Sedaghatbaf
SQME Tool is a java-based software tool developed for performance and dependability evaluation of UML-based software architectures. This tool is implemented as a plugin for the Eclipse IDE. The Eclipse IDE not only supports UML model development, but also the MARTE and DAM profiles. These capabilities are provided by the Papyrus plugin. The SQME tool is capable of translating UML-MARTE/DAM models generated using the Papyrus plugin, to HCSANs, TPNs or fault trees to evaluate the desired performance/dependability measures.
The primary audience of this tool is the individuals (or organizations) who want to use our approach to evaluate the performance/dependability of their software systems at the architectural design stage. The secondary audience is the research community desiring to learn more about software architecture modeling and evaluation.
Source code of the SQME Tool can be downloaded freely.
