Reza Entezari-Maleki

 

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. I also hold the position of Associate Researcher at Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores - Investigação e Desenvolvimento (INESC-ID), Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal.

I earned my Ph.D. (thesis title: "performability modeling and analysis in grid computing") from the Sharif University of Technology under supervision of Prof. Ali Movaghar. My main research interests are performance/dependability/performability modeling and evaluation of distributed computing systems. I am also interested in the application of analytical models to improve the performance of resource allocation and task scheduling in cloud computing.
