Current Position:

I am a PhD student of Artificial Intelligence at Iran University of Science and Technology under supervision of Dr. Mahmood Fathy (associate professor of CE department,  IUST) and Dr. Nasser Mozayani (assistant professor of CE department,  IUST). I am also a member of Mathematics department at Tarbiat Moallem University of Sabzevar from 1999 until now. My main research interests lie in the areas of Super-Resolution, Computer Vision, Panorama, Automated Timetabling and Combinatorial Optimization.

Education:

I received my BSc degree in Mathematics (with Computer specialization) in 1995 and my MSc degree in Computer Engineering (with a specialization in Software Engineering) with a second class honors, in 1998 from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (the largest university in the east of IRAN). My MSc thesis entitled “Genetic Neuro-Nester for 2D Nesting Problems to Find the Global Minima with Rotation and Reflection of Figures” was under supervision of Dr. Reza Monsefi, assistant Professor of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

Skills:

I have some experiments with the following programming languages and software: FORTRAN, BASIC, COBOL, FoxPro, GPSS, C and C++, Assembly, Pascal, SQL, PHP, C++ Builder, Delphi, Java, Java Script and MATLAB. (Some of them has been out of date L).

Also I usually use LaTeX and FarsiTeX for writing my reports and papers.

Teaching

I started teaching when I was 10, a primary school student. During and after my Msc curriculum I taught the following courses: Pascal Programming, C++ Programming, Compiler, Data Structure, Computer Graphics, Operating Systems, Algorithms Analysis & Design, Multimedia Environments, MATLAB, Data Base and Machine Language.

Honors:

• Selected as one of the best Ph.D. students at IUST on fall 2006.
• Selected as the best teacher at mathematics department of STTU on spring 2001 according to the students comments.
• Second class honors in my Msc curriculum in 1998 at Department of Computer Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

Professional Activities:

• Member of the EURO Working group on Automated TimeTabling (WATT).
