Zeinab Movahedi is currently an associate professor at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer engineering (network specialty) from University of Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC-Sorbonne Université), Paris, France in 2007 and 2011, respectively. In 2018, she obtained her HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) from UPMC-Sorbonne Université. As well, she is actually the director of Central Library and Scientific Documentation Center of IUST and acted as the head of Computer Networks Department of School of Computer Engineering of IUST from 2020 to 2021. Moreover, she served as a member of scientific council of IT department of ICT research Institute, Tehran, Iran from 2018 to 2020 and as responsible for international collaborations of School of Computer Engineering of IUST from 2017 to 2020. She is also the founder and head of Network and Pervasive Computing (NPC) laboratory, IUST, and a member of the Center of Excellence in Future Networks, Tehran, Iran. Her research interests include Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin, Smart city, Computation Offloading, Cloud/Edge/Fog Computing, Software Defined Networks (SDN), 5G/6G, Green Communications, Trust Management and Autonomic Networks.
