I
am a PhD alumni of the Department of Industrial Engineering of
Iran University of Science & Technology under the advisory
of Dr.
M. Mahdavi Mazdeh . My present research
focuses on the broad field of "knowledge Management" with special
interest on high reliability of knowledge management.
Although
the topic of KM failure has emerged over the past several years, no
specific theory has been proposed about the ability of organization to
discover and manage unexpected failures in organizational capabilities
of KM. Thus, the aim of my research is firstly to develop the theory of
KM reliability and secondly, to evaluate the impact of reliable KM on
organizational performance by developing a reliability measurement
instrument for KM, which involves five reliability dimensions of
preoccupation with failure, reluctance to simplify interpretations,
sensitivity to KM operations, commitment to KM resilience, and
defference to expertise.
Formerly,
I pursued MS in Industrial Engineering at the same
university. I worked with Dr.
M. Jafari in the field of online knowledge
market administration by using System Dynamics methodology. My Masters
thesis was on "A
System Dynamics Model for Examining the
Pricing Strategies of Online Question and Answer Knowledge Markets: The
Case of Google Answer."
Earlier, I did my
BSC thesis on "Using Electronic Methods for Better Decision
Making in Iran Universities" under the advisory of Prof.
M. Fathian of the same institute.
