1.       Shortlisted for the UNSW 2015 Malcolm Chaikin Prize (Best Engineering PhD thesis of the year), July 2016.

2.       One of the two best PhD thesis of the year (2015), the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, May 2016.

 

3.        Winning Postdoctoral Writing Fellowship Grant, Faculty of Engineering, University of New South Wales, Australia, 2015 ($12,036, Highly Competitive).

 

4.       Winner of the Best Australian NASSCOM IT-Enabled Business Innovation Award for “Improving Gas-To-Liquid Fuel Catalysis via Nano-scale Sensor Networks”, CeBIT 2014, Sydney, Australia, 2014.

(Competition was open for entire Australia. The prize comprising of a certificate, a trophy and $3000 credit to attend in an international conference.)

5.       Winner of the 2014 UNSW Innovator of the Year, People’s Choice Award for inter-disciplinary work on "Nano Sensor Networks for Improving the Performance of Chemical Reactors", October 2014.

(The prize comprising of a certificate, a trophy and $1000 cash.)

6.       Shortlisted as one of the three finalists for the "Student Innovator of the Year" at University of New South Wales , Sydney, Australia, 2014

 

7.       Winner of the Best Ph.D. Forum Paper Award at the International Symposium on the World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks (WoWMoM), held in Sydney, 19 June 2014 for the paper titled "Adaptive Protocols for Nano-scale Sensor Networks over Composition Varying Channels".

8.       Chosen as the Best poster presentation the category of "networking and security" in IEEE technology of the Future (ITOF 2014) for the work titled "Efficient Communication Protocols for Nano-scale Sensor Networks" among all participants from different universities,  November 2014.

(The competition was open for entire NSW and the prize comprising of a certificate and $500 cash)
